Sentury Landsail EV tyre: European first at The Tire Cologne
Inter-Sprint B.V. proudly showed the first tyre from manufacturer Sentury, specifically developed for use on electrically driven vehicles: the Qirin EV.
The tyre was developed using the most modern techniques by the manufacturer, which is also certified to manufacture and supply aircraft tyres to Boeing. Quality is therefore a high priority at Sentury; given the link with the aviation industry, we might say ‘the very highest’.
After an extensive testing period by Inter-Sprint, the Qirin EV will first be marketed in 16 different sizes, ranging from 16 to 20 inches.
The 18, 19 and 20 inch sizes for the Tesla Model 3, the best-selling EV in Europe since its introduction, will be available immediately.
Popular sizes for EVs from VAG, Stellantis, Ford, Hyundai/KIA, Volvo/Polestar, BMW and Mercedes will also be available immediately.
The Qirin EV is expected in Moerdijk in the autumn.
